Four vulnerabilities in the Ubuntu kernel were resolved today.  Go update your systems!

As a side note, I did not have to reconfig the VMWare kernel modules upon reboot.

From the command line:
sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get upgrade

You will be good to go after that.
